License Agreement
Last updated: 2026-06-20
Last updated: 2026-06-20. This page summarizes the license OUTMARIN grants when you buy a beat, a bitpack or exclusive rights. It explains what you may and may not do, the credit requirement, the term, the territory and the delivery formats. This is a plain-language summary; the binding text is the license agreement delivered with your specific purchase, which prevails if it differs. This text is a content draft and is not legal advice.
1. Definitions and grant
For beats, licensing here is deliberately simple: there are only two license types - the standard non-exclusive license (section 2) and the exclusive (section 4). A bitpack (section 3) is the standard license applied to a bundle of beats, not a separate type. Drum kits are a separate product with their own usage terms (see the Terms of Service).
“Licensed Material” means the OUTMARIN beat(s) you purchase, including the composition and master recording.
On confirmed payment, OUTMARIN grants you a license to use the Licensed Material to create and release your own new musical works (“New Works”), within the limits below.
You receive a license, not ownership. Except for the exclusive rights described in section 4, OUTMARIN retains ownership of the underlying composition and master.
The license takes effect only after payment is verified on our backend; previews and free demos grant no license (see the Free Demo Terms).
2. Standard (non-exclusive) license - individual beat (~$100)
Deliverables: MP3 + WAV + track-out + the PDF license agreement.
Rights: a non-exclusive, worldwide license for unlimited commercial use of the New Works you create - for example streaming, paid releases, sales and monetization of your own tracks built on the beat.
One-time fee: the $100 is paid once. There is no per-stream or per-sale royalty owed to OUTMARIN for your New Works, and no recurring or hidden charges - what your releases earn is yours.
The beat stays in the catalog and may be licensed to other artists in parallel. Your license is one of potentially many non-exclusive licenses for the same beat.
Condition of use: credit “prod. OUTMARIN” in the release description or metadata - not in the track title (see section 6).
3. Bitpack / pack license
A bitpack (such as the “Digital Flowers” pack) is licensed as a collection of multiple beats under a single non-exclusive license, priced per release (for example $500 for the full pack).
Each beat in the pack carries the same non-exclusive standard rights, restrictions and credit requirement described in section 2, applied to every beat included.
Buying the pack is for convenience and value; it does not grant exclusivity over any beat in it.
4. Exclusive rights - from $5,000 (offer-based)
Exclusive rights are arranged on request, not bought instantly from the catalog, and start from $5,000 under an individual agreement. Each exclusive is negotiated and signed separately.
An exclusive does not have to be an existing catalog beat. Through the same request you can commission a beat built from scratch for your project; tell us what you need and the scope is agreed individually.
An exclusive is more than a file handoff. On request it can include the full project (FLP) files of the beat and the producer’s hands-on involvement in the track - arrangement, ideas and direction - as set out in your individual agreement.
When an exclusive completes, the beat is taken off sale and removed from active catalog availability - sold once, then no longer sold to others.
Any standard licenses already issued for that beat before the exclusive may remain valid under their own original terms; this is recorded in the exclusive agreement. The exact scope, deliverables and any transfer of rights for an exclusive are defined in that individual agreement, which prevails over this summary.
5. Permitted uses
Record, mix and master New Works using the Licensed Material.
Distribute and monetize your New Works on streaming services, stores and platforms (e.g. Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube), subject to the credit requirement and any limits in your delivered agreement.
Perform your New Works publicly and use them in your own content, within the rights granted.
6. Credit requirement
Unless your delivered agreement states otherwise, every release using the Licensed Material must credit the producer as “prod. OUTMARIN” in the track description or release metadata - not in the track title. The song title stays clean; the credit lives where listeners see the release details, so opening the track shows it was produced by OUTMARIN.
Where a platform allows it, crediting OUTMARIN in the official producer/credits field is preferred. The exact format in your agreement prevails.
7. Prohibited uses (all license types)
Do not resell, sub-license, lease, lend, share, transfer or otherwise redistribute the Licensed Material or your license to any third party.
Do not register the Licensed Material (in whole or as an unaltered element) with Content ID, AdRev or any similar content-claiming or monetization-fingerprinting system.
Do not distribute the Licensed Material on its own as a standalone product - e.g. as a sample, loop, acapella, MIDI, preset or stem pack.
Do not claim authorship of the underlying composition, remove or obscure any watermark, or use the Licensed Material in unlawful, infringing, hateful or defamatory content.
8. Term and territory
The license territory is worldwide.
Unless your delivered agreement states a shorter or different term, the standard non-exclusive license is granted for an unlimited term, continuing for as long as you comply with its conditions (including the credit requirement and the prohibited-use rules).
OUTMARIN may terminate the license if you materially breach it - for example by redistributing the files or initiating an abusive chargeback on a delivered product (see the Refund Policy) - after which you must stop using the Licensed Material.
9. Delivery formats
Files are delivered digitally only - nothing is shipped. Standard purchases include MP3 + WAV + track-out; exclusives include the deliverables stated in their individual agreement.
All paid deliverables are clean, untagged files. The audible voice tag and sweep exist only on the free demo, never on the files you pay for.
Paid files are delivered through short-lived signed download links from private storage. Please download and back up your files promptly; expired links can be re-issued from your library or by contacting support.
10. The delivered agreement prevails
This page is a non-binding summary intended to align expectations. The legally governing text for your purchase is the license agreement delivered with it. If anything here conflicts with that delivered agreement, the delivered agreement controls.
